We are a welcoming and inclusive congregation, which means our fellowship affirms and promotes the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We invite, welcome and celebrate people of all ages, races, sexual orientations, genders, levels of education, and economic status.

The term “Welcoming Congregation” has a special meaning in our congregational life.  It means that our fellowship voted to actively welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities as full participants in the congregational life of our fellowship.  It also means that our community has undertaken a number of commitments in this regard.

Unitarian Universalism is one of the few religions that ordain openly Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer people. In addition to welcoming LGBTQ people into our religious community, we also work to protect the civil and legal rights of LGBTQ people and families across the country.

We believe we do not all need to think alike to love alike.
