"Selma:  The Bridge to the Ballot"

Film and Discussion Series at the Blount County Library, Learning Lab (adjoining the library parking lot).  Each film is approximately 40 minutes and will be followed by “a vibrant discussion of the current racial justice issues it raises.”

The film series is co-sponsored by TWIKTAR, SURJ and Blount County United’s Education Committee and funded through a bequest to Foothills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.  Talking with Kids and Teens about Race (TWIKTAR) is a community education initiative of Blount County United, Foothills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Highland Presbyterian Church, Maryville College Diversity Action Team, Maryville College Office of Multicultural Affairs, St. Paul AME Zion Church, Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ).
